Qualifications

Certification in following: 

  • Certifications in line clearance
  • Knots ( bowline, Half Hitch, Timber hitch, figure 8 loop, Prusik knot, square knot)
  • Safety of all gear (PPE, Helmet)Gr
  • Rigging
  • First aid CPR
  • EHAP 
  • Tree biology
  • Safety features of chipper and safe loading zone of chipper
  • Must know all safety gear of Groundman
  • Must have a good attitude to learn

    • 6-8 months experience
    • Must know how to take apart chainsaw clean sharpen. 
    • Safety features of chainsaw (brake kick back, two hands on chainsaw)
    • How to handle cuts with chainsaw
